From Rental House to Infrastructure Platform
Our Story
Founded in 2024, Chill Studio Rental was established to address a clear supply-side gap in the Los Angeles production ecosystem. No rental house was structurally optimized for the compressed timelines and high-frequency output that define vertical short drama (VSD) production. Within its first year, Chill Studio Rental became the largest VSD-focused rental house in Los Angeles.
Recognizing that equipment rental alone could not resolve the broader structural inefficiency, CEG expanded in 2025 through Module Set LLC and Mansion LLC — internalizing stages and locations. In 2026, Chill Studio Productions unified all capabilities under a single operational umbrella, marking CEG's evolution from a specialized service provider to an integrated production infrastructure platform.

CEG manages more than $10 million in production infrastructure assets and maintains direct B2B relationships with leading VSD platforms including ReelShort, GoodShort, and DramaBox. Our equipment division supports 20–25 productions per month with capacity for 10 simultaneous productions. Our stage and location facilities host up to 3 concurrent productions, accommodating 15–20 productions monthly. The company operates a fleet of 10 production vehicles for integrated logistics.

Each property is converted into a camera-ready production location with cost-efficient furnishings that are visually equivalent on screen. Properties generating up to $35,000/month in production revenue are offered at competitive day rates — capturing the spread between residential and production value while remaining below traditional film market pricing.

Our Workforce
Chill Studio Management is building a permanent, salaried VSD production workforce operating on structured 8-hour shifts. Each production requires 20–30 employees drawn from a standing team. A permanent crew operating across 7–8 simultaneous productions delivers institutional knowledge, scheduling efficiency, and consistent quality that the contractor model cannot replicate at volume. The total projected workforce at full scale is 74–80 full-time employees.
